Marinated in History
Did you know 1905 was the year pizza as we know it made its official debut in the United States?
Lombardi’s, then a grocery store in New York's Little Italy, was the first vendor of coal-oven pizza to the masses of Manhattan. Though pizza existed before that time in the US, it was only available through unlicensed vendors or in Italian home kitchens.
True to the legacy of its name, Pizza 1905 continues to make pizza in the New York tradition at both its locations in Lake Mary and Winter Park.
